Minka Youth Foundation is based in Manchester, England and does lots of different activities in our community in the UK and overseas, especially in West Africa where we provide support to vulnerable children, widows, disabled people, and everyone who needs assistance for their basic needs.
We provide food during Muslim events such as Eid festival and during Ramadan, and we also provide clothing, such as school uniforms to children and other various types of donations mainly in Gambia, Nigeria, and Senegal.
Our main objective is to assist vulnerable populations overcome the barriers that could stop them from achieving their potentials.
Minka Youth Foundation also organises travel facilities to perform the Hajj with our Hajj package that aims to assist our Muslim community members into benefiting from a spiritual, friendly, and well-organized Hajj.
Minka Youth Foundation runs an Arabic and Quran School at our main site in Longsight, Manchester and provides Maths and English classes to our Youth Muslim community into mastering the Quran and Islamic Studies along with counselling and school subjects learning support to help build confident, well-educated young adults.
Minka Youth Foundation is aiming to move into a bigger community centre for our Youth that will also serve as a Masjid and an Arabic School with the support of our volunteers and donations from the public.
Also, the charity is aiming to build a well in those vulnerable countries in Africa where clean water is still a challenge in some areas in Gambia, Senegal and Nigeria. We would like to encourage people to participate into this beautiful dawah work and all of us can help to reduce poverty and disadvantages faced by our Youth and vulnerable communities in Africa.
